Our mission
The Coalition of Cultural Actors facilitates communication between cultural professionals and other sectors of civil society; advocates for the interests of cultural actors; and influences good governance, public management and administration.
Our goal
To unite the community, establish ethical standards of cooperation, become an effective assistant in solving the problems of activists in their quest for justice, and become a source of expertise for government and institutional managers in the development and implementation of effective governance.
Focus areas
Advocating for the interests of the cultural sector at various levels through consolidated representation of different sectors
Thinking about and caring for one another – internal professional dialogue within and across sectors, developing ethical standards for the sector, mutual assistance
Professional experience exchange, which allows the community to be more adaptive and flexible to challenges
Public oversight – red lines and ethical standards undermined by non-transparent processes in the cultural sphere

The Coalition of Cultural Actors is a national public association, a platform that brings together professionals and organisations in the cultural sphere, protects their interests, and influences policies and public administration in the humanitarian sphere.
How the things began
The Coalition of Cultural Actors was created by an initiative group to:
consolidate proactive actors who respond to violations of rules and norms during competitions for positions of heads of state and local institutions and the distribution of budget funds
promote the alignment of legislation in the field of culture with current requirements and challenges

The Coalition's structure includes board members, coalition members, and an administrative team.
