Public oversight
In 2025-2027
The CCA monitors and exercises public control over the implementation of the following areas of the Strategy for the Development of Culture in Ukraine until 2030:
Protection, preservation, enhancement and use of the potential of cultural heritage and cultural values (strategic objective II)
Restoration of human resources capacity in the cultural sphere (operational objective VI). Updating and expanding the system of professional qualifications
Increasing the sustainability of culture as a social system (strategic goal III). Reforming the management system and liberalising the activities of cultural institutions
Competitions for management positions in cultural institutions
Allocating UAH 4 billion to the ‘1000 hours of Ukrainian content’ programme
Thinking about and caring for one another
CCA is a platform for frank discussion of complex topics and pressing challenges, testing ideas, searching for solutions, developing a consolidated position among activists, and providing mutual support.
Professional experience exchange
Uniting and consolidating the cultural community through dialogue moderation
Strengthening the voice of activists in their interactions with other communities
Empowering activists in communities and regions
Advocacy
The Coalition advocates for the implementation of policies and reforms outlined in the Culture Development Strategy
Organising and conducting public discussions, participating in public events
Conducting information campaigns that generate public pressure for reforming the cultural sector. Consolidating activists and experts for joint advocacy actions
Preparing requests, position papers and recommendations for authorities
Joining working groups on the development and revision of regulatory and legal acts
